From clothing swaps to festivals, we’re raising awareness about the impact of fast fashion and our consumer choices. Zoe Sussmeyer
Founder & Director
Zoe is on a mission to make fashion more sustainable, fair and planet-friendly. A specialist in access and inclusion, but with over 30 years of experience spanning education, arts and culture, textile design and community engagement, she’s passionate about empowering everyday people to help reduce the industry’s environmental impact.
Frustrated by fashion’s continuous lack of inclusion, Zoe believes this division has fuelled fast fashion and unhealthy consumption habits. Now, she’s channeling her expertise into leading The Big Swap, a movement built on collaboration and creativity. As the driving force behind TBS, she’s determined to unite people, challenge the status quo and create a fashion future that’s inclusive.
Sarah Dagley
Business Director
Sarah brings decades of experience in the third sector, having worked as a charity CEO and Business Manager, specialising in strategic planning, service development, and governance. Her leadership ensures that organisations are not only sustainable but also make a meaningful impact.
With a background that spans senior roles to grassroots initiatives, Sarah has a deep understanding of community needs and the value of inclusive, collaborative problem-solving. Now, as business lead, she’s focused on driving environmental and climate action, empowering local communities to be part of the solution.
